What this service holds

dlthisvid stores no media. It hosts nothing, mirrors nothing, and indexes nothing. Files are fetched from thisvid.com at the moment you ask for them and are streamed straight to you without being written to disk here.

This matters for a complaint: taking material down here does not remove it, because it is not here. The effective route is a notice to thisvid.com, which actually holds the file. A notice sent here can still result in this service refusing to resolve a specific video.

Sending a notice

Email abuse@dlthisvid.com with:

• Identification of the work you say is infringed.
• The exact thisvid.com address of the material.
• Your contact details.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Complete notices are acted on promptly. Where the complaint is about a specific video, that video is blocked from resolving here. You will get a reply either way.

Counter-notice

If your video was blocked here and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address with your reasoning and contact details and it will be reviewed.
